In this review, we will look at a new plastic kit for the coming summer from the famous Chinese company Smoant, consisting of a Taggerz Mod battery pack and a Taggerz Disposable Tank.
The Smoant company can equally be called both famous “specialists” in spying on solutions from colleagues in the shop, and notable lovers of choosing the most original ones among many competitive offers to copy. Below we will consider another example of such an unusual solution, consisting of a plastic box mod for two batteries and a plastic maintenance-free tank with an evaporator on the mesh.

The kit is packed in a small white cardboard box, on the lid of which two versions of the mod are depicted, neither of which I got. The kit includes everything you need to insert batteries, fill the tank with liquid and start vaping. True, the atomizer does not come in individual packaging, so for some time (to be honest, not very long, but still) it can “delight” you with the aromas of the polystyrene packaging. The manual contains only two languages - English and Chinese, but the illustrations make it easy to understand the settings and controls, you will not find anything extraordinary in the menu.
Taggerz Disposable Tank Appearance
The first component of our kit is the Taggerz Disposable Tank unserviceable atomizer, made of translucent blue plastic. The manufacturer kindly provided me with another copy, a black one, which arrived in a parcel in a separate bag. We have already reviewed a similar device before, and, naturally, there are already many more than two such offers on the market. This copy has a modest diameter of only 22 mm, so it can easily fit on some fairly old-school mod, but, frankly speaking, due to its modest size on the complete Taggerz Mod it looks like a blue pimple, out of place.
At the bottom of the atomizer there is a tightening adjustment ring, it is held on one o-ring (we will look at the design in more detail below), has stoppers in the extreme positions and allows you to adjust the tightening from fairly loose to cigarette-like (the gaps in the plastic parts cannot be pressed with a finger), i.e. it fully corresponds to the installed “core” – i.e. a vertical evaporator on the mesh.

The drip tip, which in this case can be safely called a mouthpiece, is an integral part of the device, i.e. does not provide for either replacement or installation of another. The internal diameter of the channel is a modest 6.5 mm, and the visible, protruding part is 11.5 mm, which is more than enough for vaping at a power even higher than recommended, without burning your lips. I used a 55 W tank, i.e. significantly higher than the values listed in the TTX of the atomizer, except for a small amount of condensate there is no discomfort. At the bottom there is a standard 510 connector, the positive contact protrudes above the thread, and the insulator sticks out noticeably, but I would not recommend using this tank on mechanical mods with hybrid connectors. You never know.
Impressions
Smoant Taggerz Disposable TankWe’ll start summing up with the tank. There’s not much to say about it, the most important thing to say is that it doesn’t leak, it produces tasty and “rich” steam, although not in the volumes that cloud chasers are used to. For fans of sub-ohm tanks who don’t want to bother with finding replacements, this is a must-have option. And we’re not necessarily talking about the Taggerz Disposable Tank, I think there are already enough options on the market to choose the right one for yourself. Here we are offered three atomizers in one package (if purchased separately from the mod), which should be enough for a couple of weeks of even active vaping. I didn’t feel any deterioration in taste after a dozen refills, even though I barbarically changed completely different liquids from different manufacturers. In my opinion, the tank has only one drawback, and even in this it is difficult to reproach Smoant – a small volume, two milliliters instantly run out and the atomizer needs to be refilled. Well, the diameter of 22 mm on the complete mod looks at least strange, a 25 mm tank is very much needed here. Otherwise, this is another unserviceable atomizer, which will cost you a price comparable to a replacement. The Chinese are asking about $ 10 for a pack of three plastic tanks, an excellent price for a device from the category of “use and throw away”. True, you can also experiment with washing the evaporator and burning the mesh, but this is already completely for lovers of perversions. Then it is better to pay a little extra and choose a serviceable tank.
Smoant Taggerz TC Mod body coating With the Smoant Taggerz TC Mod, things are a little more complicated, here it is already difficult to give a recommendation in the spirit of “to have or not to have”. On the one hand, despite the low weight, the case looks and feels quite reliable due to its thickness. But plastic is an unpredictable thing, and no one will give you a guarantee that the box will not crack like a nut from the first blow. The same applies to the paint, the flaws of which are quite noticeable upon closer inspection. This only applies to the motley version, which is considered in this review, but how the other mods look in real life, I can only guess, looking at the renders and other reviews. In any case, it is definitely neater than Graffiti. The board also cannot be called the most honest, it does not always (to put it mildly) pull out what was promised. If suddenly this point is very important to you, and you expect a real 200 W from a plastic device. But many vapers have long been accustomed to “Chinese Watts”, so I would not inflate a tragedy out of this. What advantages does the mod have, besides its weight? The fact that this is a pretty nice (let’s say, for an amateur) device, with simple and clear controls, powered by two 18650 batteries and practically not heating up from the atomizer. Honestly, I did not fire up my drippers enough to check whether the plastic would start to melt or not, and I would not advise you to do so, but in normal vaping mode, even with low-resistance windings, the body remains only slightly warm. And in everyday use, it is very convenient, fits perfectly in the hand and pleases with a body that does not creak with each press.
The price of the Smoant Taggerz Kit on the Internet is still noticeably “wandering”, the device is quite new and can be found on rare sites. Although not small, but the lightweight body will not pull down the pockets of shorts too much.
