The GLM V1 mechanical mod comes to us in an interesting box made of plywood. On the lid we see the engraving of the following content: “Your own subohm beast. Get some. Get low”, which already tells us that we have something quite serious in our hands.
GLM V1 mod packagingAfter opening the box, we immediately get a small bouquet from the manufacturer, which describes all the details of using, cleaning and caring for your device.
GLM V1 mechanical mod packagingA few more numbers. Today, I have a device with serial number 1958 in my arsenal. This is the 5th batch of the 1st version of the GLM V1. In total, more than 4,000 mods have already been released, which delight their owners with excellent trouble-free operation.
Now let’s move on directly to the appearance of the GLM V1. The diameter of the mod is 24 mm, which fits the vast majority of atomizers today. vape accessories canada The color of my mod is graphite. I would like to immediately note the very high-quality application of the coating on the copper (yes, the inside of the mod is completely copper).

If we talk about the design of the top of the pipe, then this is a standard hybrid connector with a groove inside to prevent the atomizer from “sticking” to the pipe. As you know, you need to remember one detail: for hybrid connectors, it is very important to have a protruding pin of your dripper (all kinds of tanks or RDTA devices on mechanics – no-no …), and the manufacturer did not forget to mention this fact in his booklet.

As for the tactile sensations when using the Get Low Mods mod, the powder paint feels very nice in the hand, eliminating accidental “slippage” of your favorite. I repeat – the application is very high-quality, do not be afraid to carry the device in a backpack with other things (well, of course, you should not drop it).
Pressing the button of the GLM V1 mech mod
As for the threads, there are no problems with this – they are pleasant, have a fairly average pitch, are easy to clean and do not cause any inconvenience when used.

In my case, we have the following: a ring (already just copper, without coating), the pusher itself with a pin (a single unit, covered with silver spraying), a spring and a plastic insulator. This is the standard kit for the device of my batch. Everything is simple here and does not cause any questions or complaints.

And now the peculiarities of using the GLM V1 begin. Since we only have silver plating, it is no secret that over time it will begin to peel off. Even with such a coating, when using a mod with low-resistance windings, we get traces of an electric arc on the pin and the negative contact of the battery. Of course, we want to avoid this.
What do we have as a result? Of course, after adding such a homemade thing, all issues with contamination of the pin and battery contact disappeared. But! As you understand, adding a spacer immediately leads to a decrease in the working stroke of the GLM V1 button. For me, this did not play a negative role – I do not like a deep stroke. Now it is short and pleasant, so-called “misfires” (lack of actuation when pressing the button) I have not observed for all the time. Again, a small clarification: since initially I personally made a blank 1.0 mm thick, it is always possible to make it a little thinner, thereby slightly increasing the pressing stroke.

As a dripper, I use my favorite copper 528 Custom Vapes Goon RDA, which suits absolutely everyone. Although, let’s be honest, I’m really eyeing the Apocalypse v2, which recently made a splash on the market. But, as they say, we’ll live and see.
What do we have as a result? We have a quality pipe from the manufacturer Get Low Mods, capable of simply enjoying the culture of vaping every day without any huge expenses.
