This review will focus on the Myuz SS5 box mod with a familiar design and epoxy resin by MyVapors, as well as its included atomizer.

The MyVapors company is unlikely to seem familiar to the average user. There is actually little information about this manufacturer. The official website leads to an online store, which, in addition to today’s product, has many other devices. Some sources claim that MyVapors as a manufacturer of vaping devices is a joint project of Wismec and the store mentioned above. In the device itself, oddly enough, you can find some confirmation of this, as well as references to the Eleaf company. And both devices have suspiciously familiar features, which we will see as the review progresses.

The entire kit is supplied in a minimalist white box made of very thick cardboard, on the front side of which the culprit of today’s review and the name of the device are depicted. canadian vape shop mississauga The back side of the package contains much more useful information, such as a list of the delivery set, some warnings, manufacturer’s data, as well as seemingly unfinished technical specifications in the form of output power and input voltage. The box mod and tank are found lying in foam rubber immediately after opening the box.

The kit includes all the standard attributes for such “whales” and, importantly, has detailed instructions, including in Russian. It also mentions the possibility of updating the firmware of the box mod, which can be downloaded, surprisingly, from the Eleaf website.

MyVapors Myuz SS5 Tank

The similarity with Eleaf products in the brainchild of MyVapors is revealed at the first acquaintance with the “whale” Myuz SS5 Tank, as it is almost a complete copy of the ELLO Duro tank. Unfortunately, there was no opportunity to check the compatibility of the evaporators, but it must be said that the whole thing looks very similar, so, probably, the replacement parts in these two tanks are interchangeable. Externally, the atomizer with a diameter of 25 mm similarly looks quite familiar, without any distinctive features: on top is the filling cap with a drip tip, at the bottom is an AFC ring with stoppers in extreme positions.

The connector part of the tank is standard for such devices. There is a non-adjustable gold-plated (unlikely) pin, the name of the device and a couple of certificates. Of course, there can be no talk of the possibility of using the device on mechanical mods with a hybrid connection.

The Myuz SS5 Tank is equipped with a very wide mouthpiece with an 810 mounting hole, but designed for drip tips with o-rings. This version is made of epoxy resin and has the so-called “cobra” pattern. The mechanism of the filling cap in the tank is implemented in the form of a slider with a characteristic click when opening and closing. On the top of this cap there is also a barely noticeable indicator of the direction of sliding with a finger. The hole for pouring liquid, in turn, is equipped with a silicone seal, and a spare is included in the kit.

Subsequent disassembly of the tank is carried out by simply unscrewing the upper part together with the steam pipe shaft from the evaporator. Such a design does not always work adequately, sometimes the replacement can remain in the base, and sometimes on the shaft, as luck would have it. We can only recommend fixing the evaporator in its place as tightly as possible.

Impressions and conclusions

It is not the first time that it is quite difficult to find any significant shortcomings in kits of this type that would prevent normal operation. So here, both devices work quite adequately and give exactly what you expect from them. The convenient and capacious Myuz SS5 Tank will definitely please its owner with a pleasant free draw and good evaporators on the mesh. Nevertheless, it is the box mod that deserves much more attention in this tandem, since it has all the capabilities necessary today in terms of the board. The latter works quite stably, the response to pressing the Fire button is instantaneous. The assembly of the box mod can be similarly praised, everything is assembled monolithically, without creaks, rattles and other attributes of budget devices. Even the battery cover sits surprisingly motionless in its place.

However, as in any device, the Myuz SS5 Kit is not without flaws, however, none of them can be called objective. So, when using the devices, you can’t get rid of the feeling of cheapness and toy-likeness, even though there are no visible reasons for this. You can also throw a stone at the manufacturer’s garden for the design of the box mod, there is nothing remarkable or distinctive here, another tasteless box with epoxy resin inserts.

Pros:

Good evaporators

Board operation

Mod assembly

Not bad equipment

Cons:

Feeling of cheapness

Secondary design
