Yesterday I told you about a new product from ATVS, called Castle Kit, and today I will tell you about another kit from this company, which also came out a little bit earlier. The kit is called Blade Kit and, to be honest, I like it a bit more from the first seconds, but let’s talk about everything in order.

Kit

Not changing their pricing policy, ATVS has provided the kit with everything you need for a small amount of money. It includes:

Blade mod

SR-11 tank

2 replacement vaporizers for 0.15 ohm

Spare glass and orings

Usb cable

User’s Manual

Design

We can’t say that I like this kit a lot, but the soapbox form factor provides a lot of pleasure when you take this device in your hand. The lack of sharp edges, convenient location of controls and small size together create a very good ergonomic component for a box mod. canadian vape shop calgary All the controls, except for the Fire button, are located on the front side. The Fire button is located on the side edge and it is a much more convenient solution.

The kits are available in three different colors, and this kit differs from the Castle Kit “rsquo;a in that the orings in the tank change depending on the color of the body, which is much better than nothing.

Alas, but SR-11 is absolutely nothing different from its Mini version, so I have nothing to tell about it. It’s just an ordinary tank, nothing stands out.

Technical part

Blade Mod

Dimensions: 90 x 45 x 30mm (mod only)

Weight: 175g

Body material: aluminum alloy + plastic

Power supply: 2 x 18650

Power output: 6″ mdash; 228W

Voltage range: 0.4 8.0V

Operating mode: POWER, TC (NI200, SS, TI), BYPASS

Temperature range: 200? “mdash; 600? / 100? “mdash; 315

Supported resistance: 0.1 “mdash; 3.0 “Omega; / TC 0.06 “mdash; 1.5 “Omega;

Protection: low/high resistance, overheating, short circuit, reverse polarity, overcharging/overdischarging

Connector type: steel 510, spring loaded pin

Screen/diagonal: yes, 0.96 “rdquo;

Micro-USB port/charging: Yes, yes

In general, the technical characteristics of the boxmod are quite modern, but boast nothing. The connector is made of steel, and aesthetically the maximum seating diameter will be no more than 25-26mm.

On the front panel there is a rather large monochrome LED display, on which, I would say, too much information. Underneath it there is a rocker for adjusting the power, and even lower Usb connector for charging and firmware updates.

“On the side edge is the Fire button and it is quite large, so I predict that it is very convenient to use. And more from it and nothing else is not required.

The battery bay is located in the back of the case, under the cover on magnets. There is no ribbon for more convenient extraction, and unlike Castle Kit “rsquo;a, the batteries do not protrude so much, which makes their extraction not quite convenient.

SR-11 Tank

Body material: stainless steel

Atomizer type: maintenance-free

Vaporizers: 0.15 “Omega;

Capacity: 3 / 5ml

Diameter: 25mm

Height: 52mm with drip tip

Connector: 510, gold plated pin

Weight: unknown

If you compare the tank with the Mini version, the difference is only a few millimeters in height and the tank volume of 1 ml, using the usual glass. Vaporizers here are exactly the same, top filling under the hinged lid, and blowing is regulated by turning the ring at the bottom of the atomizer. Like I said – nothing interesting.

Impressions after the use

If we were offered a choice of Castle Kit or Blade Kit, I would definitely choose the second one, despite the slightly higher price tag. In general, both kits have similar specifications, and the atomizer has minimal differences. But for me, the most important thing is convenience of use, and Castle kit “rsquo;a I do not like the shape of the controls. But if to reason unbiasedly, they are two almost identical kits, differing only in shape, and everyone will choose for himself what will be more convenient in his opinion. Otherwise, I liked the device and for its price I don’t see any significant disadvantages in it.

Pros and cons:

Pros

Price

Not a bad kit design and very good ergonomics

Excellent technical characteristics of the box mod

Large tank capacity and easy refueling

Cons

Dull tank design, but at least there are colored orings =)

No ribbon for battery removal
